March 2009 Getaway
This year's Getaway was geographically closer than our destinations in past years, and therefore enabled participation by day hikers as well as the 40 plus members who stayed at the comfortable Borrego Springs Inn.
What a fun time! Hikes in narrow slot canyons, tours of fields of wildflowers, jaunts on ridge tops, and boulder-scrambling across canyon streams kept us busy while we met new friends and got to know better the diverse array of hardy folks who make our club a joy.
The 2010 Getaway dates are February 23-26.
