Desert Trails Hiking Club leads hikes in and around the Coachella Valley

Towering red rock cliffs, refreshingly cool water in the Virgin River, the challenge of Angel's Landing, stupendous views, and wonderful companionship marked the fifth annual Desert Trails Hiking Club Spring Getaway to Zion National Park. Thirty plus members stayed in the charming town of Springdale and partook of the many hikes offered by Rochelle, Carl, Bill, and Jane over three warm and sunny days. Hats off to Rochelle Carlton for organizing yet another superb event for the club. If you have ideas for next year's Getaway location, talk to any board member or email the club.
